How To Make A Seriously Healthy Smoothie With Tiger Nuts

I love almond milk and use it in smoothies and coffee. I use a lot of almond milk and I hate when it runs out. It always seems to run out when I need to make a smoothie or make a cup of coffee in the morning. The last thing I want to do is go to the store, way early in the morning, to buy some almond milk. I discovered a better way to always have milk on hand for my coffee and smoothies.

I have discovered a powder smoothie mix that makes delicious milk that is great to use in smoothies, coffee and more. This smoothie mix is made from sweet tasting Tiger Nuts that are healthy and nut free. How can something be nut free when it is made from nuts. Tiger Nuts Smoothie Mix is from healthy tiger nuts which are not really nuts, but tubers. They may look like nuts, but they are grown in the ground like potaotoes. These tubers have been around for over 4,000 years in other countries and have recently been brought to America. These little tubers are packed with nutrition and are Gluten Free, Lactose Free, Non GMO, Cholesterol Free, Dairy Free, Non Allergenic, and Paleo perfect. Oh, they are also organic too! I love that I can make one glass of this milk at a time and it is so easy to make!

When I want a delicious smoothie all I have to do is take four tablespoons of the Premium Organic Tiger Nut smoothie mix and add a cup of water, some ice, and some fruit. I blend this in my blender and I have a serious healthy delicious smoothie. So how is this smoothie mix made? Well, Tiger Nuts takes these "nuts" and makes them into a milk. This milk is then dehydrated it and converted it to powder form. In Spain they make a drink that they call "Horchata", which is Tiger Nuts Milk and a bunch of fruit and alcohol. These "nut" contain lots of fiber along with vitamins C and E and iron. They also are known to calm your appetite.

Here is what the Tiger Nuts Smoothie Mix looks like when made into just milk with no fruit. I found it to have a bland taste so next time I will add some vanilla and sweetener to use it in my coffee.

I really enjoyed the Smoothie Mix when I added a cup of blueberries and a tablespoon of agave syrup. It was a delicious smoothie that mad for a great afternoon snack. This powder smoothie mix has a shelf life of 12 months, so I can store it in my pantry and always have some on hand for my smoothies and coffee. So go check out this wonderful nut free, dairy free Tiger Nut Smoothie mix and see for yourself how wonderful it is. While you are there you can also find out more about tiger nuts. Tiger Nuts also sells the tubers themselves as you can eat them for a delicious snack.

"These opinions are my own and I received a bag of Tiger Nuts Smoothie Mix to facilitate this post.

Last year, I bought a new blender with the good intentions of adding smoothies to my diets. Yeah, only lasted about a month. Lol.

I've never heard of Tiger Nuts before. I'd probably have to add an artificial sweetener to mine, or raw sugar, with some yummy fruits.
