The Best Easter Basket Toys For Summer Fun

If you are like me, you are probably still shopping for Easter goodies to fill your kids Easter Baskets. I admit that I sometimes wait until the night before to go to the store to buy the Easter Candy for my kids Easter baskets, only to find not much of a selection. Then there is always the crowds in the Easter section of the stores. So I have learned to be creative in making the best Easter baskets for my kids and I select unique items to fill up the Easter baskets.

I received toys from Wow Wee and Buzz Bee to facilitate this post.

One of my kid's favorite Easter toy is one that they can enjoy playing with outdoors. My boys love water fights and are always so happy when the Easter Bunny leaves them a Water Blaster. A kid can never have too many water toys, especially on hot summer days. This year the Easter Bunny will be leaving my boys the Adventure Force Power Raider Water Blaster and I know they will love it. This sugar-free Easter basket item that is made by Buzz Bee is perfect for the warmer weather that we have been having. I found this huge water soaker at Walmart in the toy section and my boys will love that it holds 65 ounces of water. This water blaster is powerful and will blast the water up to 40 feet. It also has three adjustable nozzles so my boys can have a blast soaking each other on a hot summer day.

Dart Blasters with built-in walkie talkies

My boys are also huge into dart blasters and are always happy to add another to their collection. That way they have plenty of dart blasters to share when friends come over. Dart blasters are the perfect birthday party gift for most boys. My boys love forming teams when they have dart blaster wars with their friends and the Covert Squad dart blasters by Buzz Bee will be great for some secret mission fun. These blasters have built-in Walkie Talkies with earbud communication and have a 300-foot range so your opponents won’t hear you coming. My boys tried out one of the Convert Squad last year and they loved the blasting power on these as they shot up to 100 feet. Make sure to buy two sets of these blasters so your kids can use them with friends. My boys told me last year that the walkie talkies work best when 4 or more people are playing. You can find the awesome blasters at Target.

Wow Wee has you covered for fun Easter basket toys

My boys love toys that make noise and Wow Wee has always been a favorite brand. Last Easter, I featured the Fingerlings on my Easter gift guide and those interactive monkeys were a blast with my boys. Then my boys had fun checking out the Fingerlings Hugs and this made a wonderful Christmas gift for my granddaughter. Then we later checked out the UNTAMED® Dragons and that was a huge hit with their dad as he brought the dragon to work so he could entertain his coworkers. My boys favorite Wow Wee toy was the Buttheads on Fart Friday and they enjoyed scaring me with the loud farts that the toy made. So I knew that these toys would make awesome Easter Basket gifts for the boys and my granddaughter.

The boys will be getting another UNTAMED® Dragon to replace the one that dad took to work. These beasts are wildly fun with realistic dragon sounds and a light-up mouth. This dragon is a fun interactive toy that will keep my boys entertained. The Easter bunny will also be leaving another Butthead in their Easter basket as my boys love the gross sounds that it makes when you pull its finger. This toy has way too many gross fart sounds that are awesome entertainment for my boys. Now they can prank their mom some more with some stinky sounds.

The best Easter toy for younger kids

The Easter Bunny did not forget to get something for my grandbaby. Wow Wee came out with these cute Pinkfong® Baby Shark™ Song Cubes that play that wonderful baby shark song. My grandbaby will love to dance to the music when my boys squeeze the plush Baby Shark Sound Cubes. These silly looking sharks come in three colors and characters: Baby Shark, Mommy Shark, and Daddy Shark! As a grandma, it is my job to provide the baby with fun toys that may or may not bug the parents. I think this toy will stay at my house because my daughter remembers this song from her days of a camp counselor and thinks it is annoying. I think the song is just silly fun. This toy is recommended for ages 2+ so I will make sure to hold the toy while my grandbaby listens to the music. The best part of the toy is you can replace the batteries as I can see this toy being listened to quite often with kids.

Which of these toys are your favorites?

These are some great ideas! I do a mixture of candy and toys. And gift cards, since the kids are older.

I'm not one for buying toys or gifts around easter. Our tradition is to go somewhere on holiday and relax or explore. These options look great for younger kids.

My daughter would love all of those there. I know she loves the candy but I think she would really love the blaster there from the basket. She has such a lot of fun with those.

I just finished putting easter baskets together and they are filled to the brim with stuff! I try to do more "things" verses so much candy. I'm loving this blaster with the built in walkie talkies! Although I don't need more Easter things, these might be perfect for a June birthday party!
