Check out these Christmas gifts for babies up to preschool-age children

Do you have a baby, toddler, or preschool-age child on your holiday shopping gift list? I think it is easy to buy Christmas gifts for the younger kids as there is so much selection of toys to choose from. It is so much fun to browse the toy sections of stores. Other people may be thinking I don't have kids or my kids are older so I have no clue what gift to buy for a little kid. The toddler age can be a hard one to shop for as you want to buy a gift or toy that is safe for the child. Also, remember that the gift that you may select has to sometimes meet the parent's expectations as new parents want the best for their little ones.

Since I have raised five kids and now have a 2-year-old grandbaby and a newborn grandbaby, I have plenty of experience with buying and receiving gifts for babies all the way up to 5 years of age. The holiday gifts on this list were selected with my grandbabies in mind. The gifts that I selected are age-appropriate for babies to about 5 years of age. I included at the end of each gift selection the age that the Christmas gift is intended for. Please keep this in mind when selecting the gift that Santa may leave under the tree as the age guidelines is not about how smart the child is but rather the safety factor as gifts for 3+ may have small parts in it that would not be safe for younger kids.

To save this cool list for later, press the “pin-it” button on the photos to save it to your Pinterest boards.

The best part is all these gifts can be purchased online, so no need to leave the house during a virus pandemic. Buy gifts online is a great way to get all the gifts so there is no need to cancel Christmas this year. I included the links to all the gifts to make things super simple to buy your holiday gifts and a lot of the gifts can be bought on Amazon. So if you have Amazon Prime, you can get the Christmas gifts shipped for free.

The joys of grandchildren

I love being a grandma and I have two grandbabies, ages 3 months and two years. My granddaughters are the cutest and I love spoiling them. Buying Christmas presents for my grandchildren is so much fun and I like to buy them Christmas gifts that are unique and fun. I also look for gifts for kids that are educational so my grandbabies can learn through play. Learning through play really takes off once babies hit their one year old milestones. I have been sharing my favorite holiday gifts for the past two years so for my gift ideas make sure to check out my past gift guides.

4. Pick Up & Count Vacuum

Count on picking up learning with the Pick Up & Count Vacuum™! This smart vacuum toy picks up ten play dust pieces as kids roll the vacuum over them, encouraging motor skills as they easily maneuver the pretend vacuum around the room. As the vacuum picks up the dust pieces, it recognizes each color and helps children with color recognition. Bouncing balls inside the spinning vacuum canister add excitement to pretend tidying. Three play modes teach colors, numbers, and counting with six learning games. Five light-up panels illuminate to match the color of the piece the vacuum picks up, and the vacuum says the color name and counts the piece to reinforce learning. The tiltable handle adjusts to multiple heights, allowing this toy to grow with your child. A dust bin on the back collects and stores all ten dust pieces. Clean up on learning!

I gave this cute play Vaccum to my granddaughter for her 2-year-old birthday and she loved it. It was easy for her to push the vacuum around the house. My grandbaby loved the cute music that the vacuum sang as she picked up the colorful dust pieces. I was thankful that the vacuum was not loud like a real vacuum as my grandbaby gets scared when her mom uses the real vacuum.

7. Chilly Child Wearable Blanket

Chilly Child is a wearable baby blanket poncho for babies and toddlers. Chilly Child is perfect for those wiggly ages between 6months and 3T when it is especially hard to get a little one clothed and cozy. Chilly Child was developed by a mom that was frustrated by having to dress and undress kids with tons of buttons and zippers several times a day.

The brilliant thing about this product is that it is not just adorable and cozy, it is also highly functional. Chilly Child works great as a car seat poncho (worn on top of already secured car seat straps), is perfect for cold grocery stores (throw the bottom over the cart seat to protect baby’s hands from germs), works great for a stroller (no more adjusting and readjusting blankets) and much much more. Chilly Child is made of the highest quality ultra-soft plush fabric, is reversible, made in the USA, and comes in gender-neutral options as well!

My granddaughter looks so cute wearing the Chilly Child blanket. I love that it covers her legs while in the stroller. This wearable blanket is so soft, kind of wish that they made them in adult sizes, and it will be great for stroller walks on chilly days. If her mom uses the wearable blanket in the car, it will keep the baby warm and no worries about this blanket falling on the floor. This cute blanket comes in many cute patterns.

Each tool has a unique shape and specific purpose which when matched to its corresponding part on the bench activates different lights and Kid-Vroom Sounds™ to let your child know they’ve completed the task successfully. Even the large wheels are fully removable for fixing a flat or creating a stationary workplace.
