Surgical Grade Stainless Steel Fry Pans From 360 Cookware Review

After learning about the dangers of Teflon and cooking on non-stick pans, I decided to trade out all my non-stick pans for safer cookware. Keep reading to discover the dangers of cooking on non-stick surfaces and what to use instead.

Toxic chemicals have been on my mind for quite some time. It was a conference in 2016 that opened my eyes to the dangers of chemicals in our bodies. What I learned had me realizing that I wanted better health so I started the long process of swapping out products with unhealthy ingredients with ones that were better for my body.

The first product that I eliminated from my daily use was toothpaste. My youngest son always had painful mouth sores in his mouth and the prescription magic mouthwash from the doctor was not working. The magic mouthwash would help my son with the pain but not eliminate the mouth sores. So he tried a sample of natural toothpaste and within a week his mouth sores were gone. I later found out that a chemical called SLS and glycerin were the cause of his mouth sores.

I slowly switch out products with toxic chemicals to natural ones

Then my son started having bad eczema so I started switching out products with toxic chemicals like perfume fragrances to ones made with essential oils. I started to notice that my skin was less itchy when I started using natural lotion and body wash. The antiperspirant was a hard switch as it required a detox period. See how I made the switch to aluminum-free deodorant

When I switched to a sulfate-free shampoo, my wavy hair started to curl. So that was a nice benefit. Then I started to eliminate plastic from my cooking and drinking containers. Switching products to safer ones is a process and can't be done all at once. I did plenty of research and now I decided that it was time to toss all my non-stick pans. While I love that food does not stick to non-stick pans, the chemical Teflon is not good for my family's health.

Dangers of Teflon and non-stick cookware

Teflon is produced from chemicals that are part of an enormous family of chemicals known as perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroakyl substances, or PFAS, and research has linked exposure to them to many health conditions, including certain cancers, reproductive issues, and high cholesterol.

So I selected Surgical Grade Stainless Steel Fry Pans From 360 Cookware to replace my old fry pans. I like that this cookware was made in the USA. I also liked the stainless steel look of my new fry pans. The best part of these fry pans was, of course, they had no toxic chemicals in them.

I had to learn how to cook in stainless steel cookware

When I received my pans, I made sure to read the instruction booklet that came with the fry pans. I did not want to ruin my new shiny pans. I also did not want my food to stick in the pans. I learned that the best cooking method for cooking in stainless steel pans requires liquid and lower temperature when cooking items like meats and veggies. I also learned it was about heating the pan up before adding oil. As that would help food not stick to the pan. This new cooking method was called Vapor Technology

Experience the 360 Cookware Difference with Vapor Technology

360 Cookware provides the highest quality products with unique technology that allows for healthy vapor cooking. Here’s the difference with our waterless cookware:

● Heats food faster at lower temps

● Locks in flavor and nutrients

● Eliminates the need for added oils or fats

Vapor Technology

Vapor Technology creates fast, even heat that gently surrounds your healthy recipes, from vegetables and meats to grains and baked goods. The lids are specially designed to create a Vapor® Seal that captures heat and keeps it moving around your food, not escaping out the sides. You can also use our cookware for the traditional cooking style.

For best cooking results in stainless steel cookware

~ Heat up the pan

~ Add oil

~ Wait a few minutes & add food

~ Lower temperatures are best

For items like eggs and pancakes, I had to change how I cooked food in fry pans. The 360 Cookware had to be first heated up before adding the oil. Then I had to wait a couple of minutes, after adding the oil, to add the eggs.  I also learned that stainless steel pan cooking means using lower temperatures. This was a whole new concept of cooking for my family.  I even posted the cooking instructions for stainless steel pans on the wall near the stove so my husband would learn how to use the new stainless steel cookware. This was the best cooking method to not have food stick in stainless steel pans.

Cleanup for stainless steel pans was a snap

I was glad that I made the switch to the 360 Cookware stainless steel pans, as I was cooking up healthy delicious meals for my family without chemicals. My new fry pans were roomy and easy to handle. The fry pans were also easy to clean. The stainless steel pans looked so nice hanging on my pot rack and I no longer had to look at my hard-to-clean non-stick pans.

We have stainless steel pans and they are great! It is scary how toxic the Teflon pans are once they are damaged in any way.
