It is easy to live for the likes, the shares, and the comments instead of truly living. We were not meant to do life alone and sometimes an online community is not enough.
As the world of social media expands at a rapid pace. we can easily get caught up in a virtual world instead of participating in life. We get the highs of seeing our posts get likes and shares and believe that we are happy living our best life behind a computer screen. Even when we do leave home to do other activities, we may feel the need to still be connected to our virtual community. We may think that life on our phones and electric devices is all we need.
The screen life may make us feel unworthy or that we are not good enough. Some people may even feel they are better than other people, based on what they see on the computer. The online world of computers can be a good thing but it can also lead to one being a self-center person, always thinking about themsleves.

“Divine Influencer” is such a timely movie as the world of social media expands at a rapid pace. The message of this film is a reflection on how easy it is to live for the likes, the shares, and the comments instead of living our lives with others in a life beyond the social world.

Most people enjoy spending time on social media outlets like Facebook and TikTok and there is nothing wrong with that. We just have to be careful to not let the social world consume our daily lives. Trouble can come when we can't walk away from our phones and computers. We may think that our devices define who we are and how we are to live our lives. When virtual life is taken away from us, we may discover joy and purpose in other ways. The movie Divine Influencer was a movie that I could relate to, as an influencer, and it showed me what true influence is.
This movie also showed me that I need to step away from my computer more often and spend more time with others. I need to rediscover the joy and purpose that comes with spending time with others.
"Divine Influencer” is a movie about discovering your true purpose in life and recognizing that everyone from all walks of life is equal in God’s eyes.
About Divine Influencer
When an entitled influencer loses everything, she must humbly trust God to understand what the meaning of true influence is. Desperate, she takes a job at a homeless shelter only so she has a place to lay her head and quickly realizes the joy and purpose that comes from serving others.

“Divine Influencer” is a movie about humility, the power of prayer, and trusting God to show us the direction of our lives.
Olivia is a social media influencer who is enjoying living her life through selfies, parties, and the self-gratification she receives from her social media fans. Oliva lived her life in front of a phone screen and was caught up in a life that only involved herself.
When a friend posts a video of her bashing a product she represents, her life as an influencer is over. Oliva loses her fancy life when her parents cut her off from their fortune. This leads to Oliva becoming homeless and having to freeload at a friend's house. When that friend kicks her out, Oliva is desperate for a place to live. She accepts a job at a homeless shelter and quickly learns that life is not about her being the center of attention. Through hardship and forgiveness. she learns how to turn her self-centered and entitled influence into helping others. Oliva learns about trusting Jesus.
