I didn't watch the show at all, really, but even as a standalone film with no outside knowledge, it was very touching and enjoyable. I still cried ðŸ˜
I will also say that this is a very good film, my mother and I thoroughly enjoyed it, despite having more than base knowledge of the show and their lives. It's definitely still great to watch, even if you don't watch the show.
