Divine Influence Is About The Dangers Of Social Media

It is easy to live for the likes, the shares, and the comments instead of truly living. We were not meant to do life alone and sometimes an online community is not enough.

As the world of social media expands at a rapid pace. we can easily get caught up in a virtual world instead of participating in life. We get the highs of seeing our posts get likes and shares and believe that we are happy living our best life behind a computer screen. Even when we do leave home to do other activities, we may feel the need to still be connected to our virtual community. We may think that life on our phones and electric devices is all we need.

The screen life may make us feel unworthy or that we are not good enough. Some people may even feel they are better than other people, based on what they see on the computer. The online world of computers can be a good thing but it can also lead to one being a self-center person, always thinking about themsleves.

“Divine Influencer” is such a timely movie as the world of social media expands at a rapid pace. The message of this film is a reflection on how easy it is to live for the likes, the shares, and the comments instead of living our lives with others in a life beyond the social world.

Most people enjoy spending time on social media outlets like Facebook and TikTok and there is nothing wrong with that. We just have to be careful to not let the social world consume our daily lives. Trouble can come when we can't walk away from our phones and computers. We may think that our devices define who we are and how we are to live our lives. When virtual life is taken away from us, we may discover joy and purpose in other ways. The movie Divine Influencer was a movie that I could relate to, as an influencer, and it showed me what true influence is.

This movie also showed me that I need to step away from my computer more often and spend more time with others. I need to rediscover the joy and purpose that comes with spending time with others.

"Divine Influencer” is a movie about discovering your true purpose in life and recognizing that everyone from all walks of life is equal in God’s eyes.

About Divine Influencer

When an entitled influencer loses everything, she must humbly trust God to understand what the meaning of true influence is. Desperate, she takes a job at a homeless shelter only so she has a place to lay her head and quickly realizes the joy and purpose that comes from serving others.

“God’s Country Song” is an emotional movie about second chances and the main actor in this film, Noah received his 2nd chance after accepting to become a dad to a son that he did not know about. Noah became a dad when a lawyer contacted him about taking a paternity test to see if he was the father of a child who was in foster care. The test revealed that Noah was the father to a little boy who had just lost his mother and he had to decide if he was going to do the right thing.

The above bible verse reminds us that life is not always easy. The movie Sun Moon is all about facing life after dealing with difficult circumstances and it is a movie that I enjoyed watching. This faith-based movie will be on Pure Flix and you need to watch it. “Sun Moon” is a beautiful story about discovering joy and purpose despite cultural differences and difficulties.

I always find awesome faith-based films to watch on Pure Flix and I recently watched Miracle at Manchester. This was a movie that I enjoyed watching. While I enjoyed watching Miracle at Manchester, it was also a movie that at the same time was hard to watch. The movie reminded me of the health issues that I have been dealing with for the past couple of years. Prayer and my church community have helped me through some scary breathing issues.

Watching this movie has also helped me with my prayers for the many people that I know who have cancer.

This was a movie about a high school kid ~ Brycen Newman, who was enjoying life playing sports and looking forward to the big game. Then in an instant, his life changes and so does his future. Brycen starts experiencing unexplained headaches which leads the doctors to discover an aggressive brain cancer.

This film is based on a true story and is more than just about miracles but about seeing people show their love and support to someone struggling with life. This movie will inspire you and give you hope. This movie reminded me that prayer is powerful and that God does not want us to do life alone.

Highlights from Episode 4

The theme of this episode goes well with this Bible verse ~ Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. – Deuteronomy 31:6 (NIV). As I watched the episode, I started to form a connection with the character Ali. Ali has a disease that makes breathing difficult but she tries to not let it get in her dream of competing in the rodeo or with her relationship with Cody.

I know the struggles of breathing with my asthma and not being able to catch my breath. While my allergy shot treatment plan is helping my lungs heal, for Aly, her healing requires an immediate pulmonary transplant. In this episode, Cody begins to learn a little bit about Ali's disease but not how serious it is.

The 4th episode of A Thousand Tomorrows also reveals a troubled relationship that Cody has with his father. Cody tells Ali about his relationship with his father and she encourages him to forgive his dad and welcome him back in. I just love all the feelings that are in this episode and seeing the characters reach out to God for help.

Through a chance meeting, after they both left the dating event, love found Elise and Patrick. I love that Heaven Sent shows that you are never too old to open the door on love.

I love having a Pure Flix subscription as that means I can watch the best holiday movies. I recently had an opportunity to watch We Three Kings. This Christmas movie is based in the 1800s and tells the story of how this popular Christmas carol was written. It is a beautiful movie about how the hymn We Three Kings was introduced in a Christmas pageant with the help of an uncle and his nieces and nephew.

We Three Kings synopsis: The Fay children can't wait for their Uncle Henry to arrive for Christmas. With the help of Uncle Henry's new song, "We Three Kings", the children learn truths about Jesus and the gifts that were given to Him.

I remember singing the song We Three Kings, long ago, in school performances. Back then, not being a Christain, I really did not know much about the song other than the words. Since I did not attend church as a child, I certainly did not know who the three kings were or the meanings of the gifts that they brought to baby Jesus. The gifts that the three kings brought, gold, frankincense, and myrrh had little meaning to me as a young child.

Watching the movie We Three Kings with the family would help children understand more about the 3 gifts and why the kings gave them to baby Jesus. Even I learned more about each gift. I knew that frankincense and myrrh were perfumes but I learn that these fragrant perfumes were produced from the sap of trees.

If you are frustrated with the selection of shows for families on network television, then you need to check out Pure Flix streaming services. Pure Flix has a huge amount of family shows and movies for families. You will love the variety of the selection of entertainment that can be enjoyed by the whole family. No longer will you have to hold the remote while watching tv with your kids.

I signed up for Pure Flix earlier this year and I am glad that I did. I always find something that I enjoy watching on the Pure Flix streaming website. When I am in the mood for a movie, I quickly find a movie to watch. Even my teen son discovers movies to watch on Pure Flix. Pure Flix also has plenty of shows that I enjoy and I just recently discovered a new series called Saved By Grace.

As a Pure Flix ambassador, I get to preview movies and shows on Pure Flix before they go live. I watched a couple episodes of Saved by Grace the other day and I admit that I binged watched this series all afternoon instead of getting my work done. Each episode of Saved by Grace was so good that I just had to check out the next one.

The Saved by Grace series is about angels who are sent by God to help people through their life struggles. The first episode that I watched was about a single mom who owned a bookstore and received a notice that her rent was going up. This mom was already struggling to make ends meet. The angels helped her through this crisis in an unexpected way. It was a show had me wondering if I had ever met an angel.

The next Saved by Grace show featured a teen who got caught up in the life of using her body to make money. The angels stepped into her life after she was threatened by a drunk guy in the parking lot after work. Each of the episodes featured people that did not know what to do with their struggles and how encounters with the angels helped them through the difficult times.
