Cauliflower Poppers Made Great With Jiva USDA Organic Cumin Powder

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I have found a great way to cook cauliflower and the awesome part is this dish is low in fat and so good for you. The Cauliflower Poppers are so good that I have to stop myself from eating the whole head of cauliflower. These tasty poppers are a great snack or go great with any meal. The secret ingredient that makes the cauliflower so yummy is Cumin. Cumin in a spice that has a nutty pepper taste and is great in Mexican and Tex-Mex dishes. It also can be used in Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine.

I was sent a package of Jiva USDA Organic Cumin Powder to review on my blog. I love that this cumin is USDA Organic and is all natural product of India. This wonderful spice has an intense aroma and is 100% pure cumin with no salt, no MSG, no GMO, and no ethylene Oxide treatment. The spice comes in a resealable bag.

I love cooking with spices and fresh spices make a difference in taste. The color of this cumin was more vibrant than what you can buy at the grocery store and it had an intense spicy aroma. I searched for different recipes online to give me ideas on how to use this wonderful spice. I already knew from living in New Mexico that it is great in Mexican dishes like tacos and enchiladas but I wanted to make something different to bring out the great flavor of cumin. I stumbled upon this great recipe for Cauliflower Poppers and knew I just had to try it. I love my veggies roasted and knew roasting them with cumin would give them a great taste. I was right. When these wonderful Cauliflower Poppers came out of the oven, I just inhaled the great aroma of the cumin. The taste of the cauliflower was awesome and I ate over half of the batch I cooked. I could have easily all of the poppers but I knew my husband would want some.
