Must Have Natural Summer Running Essentials

Check out some products that I am loving!

Summer has officially arrived here! The weather has been crazy here the past couple of months with too many cold days and that is not typical here. Usually, in March, I am wearing shorts and a tank top but this year we had snow in May. Sure it was just a dusting of snow but the weather was darn cold and I am glad to welcome the hot weather. The hot weather means that I have to make some changes in my running like going out earlier and drinking more fluids. The heat also means that I am sweating more too. So I am loving these products that I have discovered for summer running.

Sponsored Post: I received products to facilitate this post.

The first product that I am loving is this cool shower in a bottle spray. This spray is perfect for anyone with an active lifestyle. Purequosa is a refreshing spray that takes away the need for a shower after a workout. Sure that shower feels so good and makes you smell good but when there is not a shower around or you do not have time for a shower, this spray takes away the sweat and smell and makes you feel so refreshed. You just spray it on your body and it will instantly make your body feel clean and fresh. I so love that it contains all natural ingredients like Tea Tree Oil, Sage, and Aloe Vera. They smell good too. These sprays will be awesome to use when I go to BlogFest in July as I will doing a lot of sweating and there will be no showers available until I get back to the hotel. These wonderful sprays can also help to cleanse your bike helmet, yoga mat, and other workout accessories!

Did you know that Sage and Tea Tree oil are known to be an antifungal, antimicrobial, antioxidant, antiseptic, and antibacterial?

The next product that I am loving is an Organic Energy drink that not only contains Omega-3s, fiber, and protein but also helps keeps me hydrated. This so delicious Mamma Chia Energy drink is made with natural fruit & vegetable juice & guayusa tea and loaded with tons of chia seeds. The chi seeds give the drink this awesome texture along with superfood benefits. Chia seeds* have many awesome benefits like Omegas and hydration properties. I so look forward to my Blackberry Blast when I wake up in the morning as this yummy drink gives me the energy that I need to get my but out running so early in the morning. I have to hide these drinks in my fridge from the teen. I like to remind him that the bottle says, Mamma on it, not boy. The Cherry and Raspberry flavors also taste amazing. I just wish that these did not have to be refrigerated or I would be packing these in my suitcase for when I go to BlogFest.

*Because chia seeds absorb thirty times their weight in water, they help regulate body fluid levels and retain electrolytes, both key in the battle against dehydration. For long workouts in high heat and humidity, chia seeds are a handy way to prolong hydration.

Love my Mamma Chia before running.

One product that is a must-have for almost anyone is my favorite natural mineral based sunscreen. This chemical-free sunscreen has ended my love/hate relationship with sunscreen. I use to hate wearing sunscreen as I hated the smell and did not want to rub chemicals on my skin. The only time that I wore those chemical based sunscreens was when I went swimming. Even then I only wore it on certain places that were prone to burning. When I discovered Goddess Garden two years ago, I was amazed that a natural sunscreen could actually protect my skin from the sun. I love how this chemical-free sunscreen protects my skin from the sun even when in the water. So now when I go running, I wear this mineral based sunscreen. That shower bottle in a spray looks like something I would love to try out. I use dry shampoo after workouts and could totally use this.

Thanks for sharing. I would love to give the sunscreen a try since I had some bad experience with a lot of other sunscreens while running.

I love that these sunscreens and body lotions are natural and mineral based. That would be better and gentle on our skin instead of the others that have harmful chemicals in it. I will check these Goddess products out next time I am at the store.

It's awesome that there are plenty of natural products available these days. I prefer them over the products that we're used to.

These look like great items...I am not a big runner, but love hiking and think these could also work well for that. Will have to try them, since most of them are new to me.

I don't run but my family does. My Uncle and cousins run in marathons all the time. I would need all these sun screen products!! I would be so burnt running in the Alabama sun! I will have to try these products out and have the family members who do run, try them out too! :)
