For many years, I had no idea that I even had asthma. I just thought that having a cough was part of my seasonal allergies. As long as I took two different allergy medications, for the most part, my chronic cough was under control. I did not even consider that my annoying cough cough could be related to asthma as I did not have any wheezing. The fact that my daughter and my youngest son had been diagnosed with asthma did not make any difference, I just told myself that coughing was a seasonal allergy thing. Sure I also tended to cough when I was around smoke, dust, mold, and chemical fragrances but it never occurred to me that I had asthma. I thought I was just sensitive to these environmental triggers. I did not even consider that I had exercise-induced asthma or allergy-induced asthma.

Asthma is a chronic disease that causes the airways leading to the lungs becoming inflamed.

My thinking started to change about having asthma about 2 years ago when I started having breathing problems when I exercise. I, at first, I thought that getting older was the cause of my breathing problems. So I went from running to walking for exercise and I still was coughing up a lung so I began to question~ Could I have asthma? I even thought about making a doctor's appointment.

As with other chronic conditions, a person’s asthma will flare from time to time, usually as a result of exposure to a trigger. Triggers can vary between people but could include exercise, smoke, or particular allergens

These asthma triggers can cause mucus to build up in the lungs. ClearLungs can help get the mucus out of the lungs.

ClearLungs® Extra Strength contains more of the ingredients found in our ClearLungs Original® herbal formula for free breathing and lung health that:

Support free breathing*

Keep airways open*

My asthma was exercise-related

Since my severe breathing and coughing only occurred when I exercise, I put off making a doctor appointment. Then 2 months later my coughing got worse and I at first thought that I had a cold since it was January. A month later I could not even talk without having a coughing attack and I was coughing up a lot of mucus. My sleep was suffering too and I had to sleep sitting up. I began to think that maybe I did have asthma but I still had no wheezing symptoms. I even tried my son's inhaler when I was having a bad coughing episode. I knew that I had to make a doctor's appointment but I put it off as I did not like the idea of having to take prescription asthma medication.

My answer to my problem was revealed to me

It was through a powerful prayer session at church that God revealed to me that dairy was the cause of my out of controlled asthmatic coughing. I looked back at my diet and realized that I started drinking a whey-based protein powder around the same time my asthma symptoms got worse. I was also eating cheese every day. So I eliminated all dairy from my diet and within three weeks, my chronic coughing stopped. I still had my doubts but a food allergy blood test confirmed that I had a dairy allergy. I had been sensitive to dairy my whole life but I thought it was a lactose issue. Once I accepted that I was allergic to milk and dairy, I began to notice some other changes. After eliminating dairy from my diet, even my occasional sleep apnea episodes went away and I was able to sleep on my back without waking up gasping for air.

Elimination of dairy helped my asthma symptoms

Eliminating dairy from my diet helped me manage my asthmatic symptoms but I still had other asthma triggers like smoke, dust, mold, and chemicals. So I clear my house of all toxic chemicals and started using products that were scented with natural fragrances like essential oils. I did a spring cleaning of toxic fragrances. I started using an efficient high-quality air purifier and sulfate-free hair care products that were allergy-friendly as I was on a mission to make my house free of allergens that were triggering my asthma. I even avoided the gym when they were cleaning.

I could not eliminate all my asthma triggers

Eliminating all my asthma triggers was not possible unless I wanted to live in a plastic bubble. I still had asthma flare-ups from the accidental ingestion of dairy products when I ate out at restaurants or at a friend's house. I had to learn to be that annoying person who had to special order my food. I could not avoid chemicals outside the house that would make me have an asthma attack. So I carried essential oils in my purse that helped open my airways. The essential oil blend that helps me open up my airways and expel the mucus is one that has menthol and peppermint in it. I also discovered an amazing herbal product that cleared the mucus from my lungs quickly.

It was at the last health conference that I experienced an asthma attack while in the expo hall. Something was in the room that triggered me to have an uncontrollable cough along with voice hoarseness. I was in front of the Ridgecrest Herbal display and I notice their samples of ClearLungs. I asked the Ridgecrest representative about the ClearLung sample and he encouraged me to try it. The sample that I tried was the ClearLungs liquid and within 15 minutes, I started coughing up some mucus and I could feel my ears draining. After I cough up the mucus, my voice was no longer hoarse and I stopped coughing. I, of course, asked for samples of the ClearLungs capsules to take home with me.

I was glad that I had brought home some samples of the ClearLungs from that conference. The next time I had an asthmatic cough from accidentally ingesting some soy protein (another food allergy that I have) and I was struggling with my breathing, I was glad that I was able to use my ClearLungs. While I was waiting for the ClearLungs to work, I took deep breaths of my essential oils. The essential oils helped some but I still felt like I was breathing through a straw. It took the ClearLungs about 15 minutes to kick in. Then my lungs were able to expel the mucus and I was able to take deep breaths. That night, I had no trouble sleeping as I did not experience anymore coughing.

In the past when I did not use ClearLungs, I would have to head to the gym to lift weights to clear the mucus from my lungs, or I would cough all night.  Exercise helps with my asthma but it can be difficult to exercise with asthma. Check out my 10 tips for exercising with asthma. ClearLungs helps me clear the asthma mucus from my lungs and I will also use it before I exercise.

I stocked up on ClearLungs

ClearLungs helps me manage my asthma naturally without having to use prescription medicine. I had to stock up on this amazing herbal formula and I was glad that Ridgecrest Herbals sent me some samples. I love all the extras that they sent me with my order. I also love that Ridgecrest Herbals has some amazing deals like buy three get one free and 25% off for the months of February and March.  I have a better deal for my readers when they shop at Ridgecrest Herbals.

Ridgecrest Herbals sells many other herbal formulas and I selected the Blood Pressure Formula with my order for my husband to try. My husband has high blood pressure despite working out and eating healthy food. His doctor wants to put him on medication. My husband is going to give the Blood Pressure Formula a chance to see if it can help reduce his blood pressure to a more normal level. I will follow up in a couple of months with his results.

Diet, exercise, and ClearLungs help me manage my asthma

Managing my asthma can be challenging at times as I can not avoid all my asthma triggers. I try my best to avoid foods that trigger my asthma symptoms, like dairy, soy, and mushrooms. Eating out can be a challenge with food allergies but I always alert the server of my allergies. I also visit restaurants that are allergy-friendly, I love the places that have online allergy resources. I make homemade dairy-free desserts and cook without dairy for all my meals. I exercise daily as exercise helps keep my lungs free of asthma mucus. I do my best to avoid environmental asthma triggers like chemical fragrances and smoke. I use ClearLungs on a daily basis to support my breathing. When I start having an asthma flare-up, I am glad that I can take additional ClearLungs to help me breathe better as I do not have to worry about nasty side effects. I am glad that I discovered a herbal formula that helps me manage my asthma symptoms. Buy ClearLungs HERE.

I have really bad allergy induced asthma. I've been trying so hard to find more natural ways of managing it since I pretty much always get given steroids. We've tried natural medicine, plants, salt lamps, and so far haven't had much success.

I will have to check clear lungs out. I didn't know they had a medication like this. Almost everything I see with it is about steroids. And my daughter has some asthma issues and I'd rather have her use something like this.
