Quick & Easy Dairy Free Tuna Pizza Bites

This dairy-free recipe is super easy to make and kid-friendly. The pizzas are so easy to make so let your kids help you make them.

Summer break is almost here and if you are looking for summer activities to keep kids busy, look to the kitchen. Let the kids help create some healthy meals and snacks. Not only does cooking with kids teach them skills like math and science, but kids also tend to try more healthy foods when they help make them. So summer is a perfect time to let kids experiment in the kitchen and with your help, they can create a delicious and nutritious meal in under an hour.

Introduce kids to healthy tuna

If you are like most parents, you shy from serving tuna to your kids as you think that they won't like the taste. Tuna is an excellent source of protein and loaded with nutrition. Tuna offers essential amino acids, omegas, and B vitamins so start including tuna in your kid's diet with these delicious tuna pizza bites. Your kids will love the pizza taste and you will love how easy they are to make. These pizza bites are gluten-free and dairy-free. If you don't have a dairy allergy, you can use regular mozzarella cheese. For those that are sensitive to dairy, vegan mozzarella cheese is a great substitute for cheese.

Making these dairy-free pizza bites is super simple and your kids can help make them. Younger kids can help mix up the ingredients in this one-bowl recipe. While older kids can make this recipe from start to finish. Kids enjoy helping in the kitchen especially when it means being able to enjoy yummy food. My boys love to cook and love baking cookies and frog bread. Last summer my boys helped me make Focaccia Bread Flowers and One Bowl Vegan Peanut Butter Cookies. I sure do enjoy the delicious treats my boys make.

Safe Catch Elite Wild Tuna

If you are worried about eating tuna because of mercury, you need to use Safe Catch Elite Wild Tuna in this recipe. Safe Catch is the only brand to test every tuna for mercury and in my opinion, has the best flavor. I discovered Safe Catch tuna a couple of years ago when they sent me a box of their delicious seafood products. I made spicy salmon waffles with their salmon and they were so delicious. My love of seafood is why I can never follow a vegan diet.

These tuna pizza bites will become a family favorite meal. They are great for dinner or lunch. Serve the pizza bites with a bowl of marinara sauce for dipping. Kids will love these cheesy bites. The cheesy bites also make great snacks. I discovered the recipe the Tuna Pizza Bites on the Safe Catch website but modified the recipe to make it dairy-free since I am allergic to dairy products.

There are many other delicious and nutritious recipes on the Safe Catch website that uses their seafood products. Other recipes that you need to check out are tuna taco bites and tuna mac n cheese bites. These recipes are awesome for healthy meals and summer snacks.

Oh, that looks good! I have a friend who's lactose intollerant, and he really misses anything pizza-related. I'll have to tell him about this.
