Roasted Garbanzo Beans


 Garbanzo beans make a healthy irresistible snack when they are roasted in the oven. This snack is so easy to make and you can make many flavors depending on what spices you use. I used a BBQ spice on theses but other spices like garlic, salt, and chili powder are good too. All you need is a can of garbanzo beans, oil, and spices. Just be warned, these are addicting and you might just eat the whole bowl of these crunchy beans in one sitting. That is perfectly fine to do and they are so healthy. They are loaded with protein and fiber.

Roasted Garbanzo Beans 

1 can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon BBQ seasoning or ones of your choice

Oven 400F
  Pat the garbanzo beans gently with a paper towel to dry them. Then place them in a bowl and add the olive oil and seasoning. Stir until beans are covered with oil and spices. Place the beans on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Stir the beans and bake 15 more minutes or until toasted and brown. Let the beans cool down and enjoy. Store leftovers in a container with a tight lid. Serves two.
