The Reach It Grab It Tool Is A Multi-Purpose That Is Not Just For Old People

I am sure you have seen the commercials for those Reach it Grab it tools. You know the ones showing you how handy they are for seniors who struggle with back pain or arthritis. The ads show show people using the tool to get items down that they struggle to reach. I have always been curious about these Reach it Grab it tools and have wanted to try one. When I received the opportunity to review one, I said yes. Even my boys were excited that I was going to review a Reach it Grab it.

These Reach it Grab it tools are a great multi purpose item that allow the person to pick up items but I wanted to find other ways to use this tool. I want to find uses for this tool that went beyond picking up items off the ground or up high. I discovered that this tool is great for reaching socks that fell between the wall and washer. My boys don't always make the basket when putting their dirty clothes in them, so socks and other items tend to get stuck in a tight spot near the wall next to the washer. I no longer have to pull the washer out or use a yard stick to get these items. The Reach it Grab it tool made retrieving these socks so easy.

I then looked around the house to find other ways to use this handy tool. I looked above my front door and saw my youngest son's red shirt on a ledge that was way to high for me to reach without a ladder. My son's shirt had been up there for quite some time and with 3 boys I have no idea how it got there.

I stood on a chair and used the Reach it Grab it tool to get the shirt down. The shirt was very dusty. My son was happy to get his shirt back, I have no clue if it still fits him.

I was still having fun using the Reach it Grab it so I looked for other ways to use it. Since my son's shirt was so dusty, I realized that there was other places that needed dusting, places that I could not reach without a chair or ladder. I grabbed a dust cloth and used this multi-purpose tool to dust the tops of the door frames. I did not realize how dusty the door frames were, but now with my Reach it Grab it, I will dusty them more often.

This tool is great for both the old and young. It is easy to use and you can pick up almost anything with its non-slip jaws. It even has a swivel head that rotates a full 90 degrees. The tool is made from high grade aluminium so you can use it outside to pick up trash. I will have my boys use this tool to pick up the trash that blows into the bushes. Ha -- looks like you are having way too much fun with that tool! I have a similar alcove in my foyer and I need one of those for it. I'm pretty sure a few things have been stuck up there for years. The dusty shirt cracked me up :)

My grandma always used one of these to get cans off of the top shelf in the kitchen. They work great!! I would use mine to pick up trash on the trails when we go riding in the mountains. Helping to preserve the forest is a great thing!

My kids have been asking for something like that so they can pick up the trash on the side of the roads. I would use it for that purpose.

That is really handy, and I agree not just for old people! I sometimes have back issue and it would be great so I wouldn't have to bend over! I love you little shelf above your door, neat!!

My Mom and Dad have one, and it is soooo useful. I want one for myself. There have been plenty of times when this would come in handy for getting cans off of the tallest shelves in my kitchen.

Yes, this is perfect for getting things out of tight spaces without having to move the washer/dryer, stove, etc. This would come in handy for a ton more things around the house. Thanks for sharing some great tips on other ways to use this tool.
