Preparing For The Military Ball

I am so excited to be able to attend my son's military ball!

In a week I will be attending my son's military ball and I am so excited. Now, most of you know that I have four boys and one girl. The son that I am talking about is my teenager, my third child. This son, my 2nd boy is in ROTC and school and every year his unit has a grand ball. All the students in the ROTC unit dress up in their finest clothes. The girls wear floor length gowns and the guys wear their military dress uniforms. The ball is held at a fancy hotel with a fancy meal. This ball is a night of celebration for a year of hard work. I am happy that parents get to attend this event to celebrate with their student. We parents also have a chance to dress up. Since it is a black tie event, the dads wear suits and the moms wear fancy dresses.

I have been preparing for this fancy ball by shopping for a dress, shoes, and other items. I also have been using new facial products to prepare my skin to looks its best on this special night. My new products contain AC-11®, a safe all natural and water soluble bioactive rainforest plant extract that helps the body to repair sun and environmental stress-related damage to DNA, and slow down the process of skin aging. I was excited to try my new face cleanser, eye cream, and anti-wrinkle serum. I love that there are products that help keep my skin looking young as I don't act my age so why should look my age. These products have some unique ingredients in them like macadamia oil that not only helps with those wrinkles but also those dark circles under my eyes. I love how soft my skin feels after using the skin care products. I have only been using the products for two weeks so I have not seen any dramatic changes but I will continue to use them to keep those fine lines away.

So I have my dress and shoes selected for the military ball. My face is getting pampered with new face care products and now I need to figure out my hair. Oh, I am so excited to be able to have a fancy night with my husband at my son's military ball. The below picture is my son and his girlfriend from last year's ball. They were crowned prince and princess, their 2nd time in a row. I wonder if they will get crowned again this year. They do make a good couple. I will update this post with more pictures after I attend the military ball. I have a better camera this year so I am hoping that it will take better pictures.

Have fun at the ball and I do hope those products makes a positive difference to your skin. I hate products that don't work as they should.

I remember my first military ball. I was ready in under 20 minutes where as my GF at the time took nearly 3 hourss and that was after the hairdresser appointment. Richard B
