A simple and safe way to keep your kitchen smelling nice
Sponsored post
With everyone home all day, it seems like the kitchen is always messy. No sooner do I clean up the breakfast dishes, someone is fixing themselves a snack. That is a problem with the kids doing online school and the husband working from home, the kitchen is always in use. I remember the good old days when everyone left the house in the morning for school and work and I stayed home with a clean kitchen. That was five months ago and I long for those quiet days as well as a clean kitchen.
I have learned to ignore the kitchen mess
I have learned to ignore the dirty dishes piling up in the sink and the sticky countertops during the day. I used to be bothered by the constant mess in the kitchen, ok it still bothers me, and just clean the kitchen up once a day. I am just thankful that my family puts their dishes in the sink and makes their own meals. I tried teaching my husband how to load the dishwasher but he never puts the dishes in the right place. Sometimes I think my husband loads the dishes wrong just to annoy me. When I move the dishes around in the dishwasher, he does not seem to understand that dishes need to be in a certain direction to get cleaned. Placing a cup upside down will not get clean.
My boys did a somewhat good job of loading the dishwasher but they do better at unloading the dishwasher. So their chore for the day is putting the clean dishes away. So now my cleaning routine is to clean the kitchen after dinner. While this way of cleaning keeps me sane it can lead to kitchen odors. Dirty dishes in a sink all day and food scraps in the garbage disposal, leave behind a bad smell. So I load up the dishwasher with the dirty dishes and wipe down the kitchen counters. Then I close up the kitchen, how I wish I could keep the kitchen clean until morning but that will never happen with growing boys who are always hungry. The last thing that I do before I walk away from my clean kitchen is to place an ARM & HAMMER Garbage Disposal Cleaner in my garbage disposal.
+ Eliminates Odors
+ Easy to Use
+ Leaves behind a fresh citrus scent
Can I least have a neon sign that says "kitchen closed?"
Arm & Hammer Garbage Disposal Cleaner cleans and deodorizes my disposal with the power of baking soda, leaving behind a fresh citrus scent. The best part after a great smelling kitchen is this product is made with safe ingredients that do not cause me to have an asthma attack. These small orange balls are scented with essential oils and make my kitchen smell like oranges. It is like tossing fresh orange peels into my garbage disposal but better. So now I can toss my orange peels into my compost pile for great garden soil and let the power of baking soda clean my kitchen.
It’s easy to use – just 3 simple steps – and only takes a minute
I like how easy the Arm & Hammer Garbage Disposal Cleaner is to use. I just run the water and disposal ~ turn off the disposal ~ toss in the orange capsule and run the kitchen disposal again. This only takes a minute and my kitchen smells amazing with a fresh citrus scent. The instructions on the package say to use twice a week or as needed to clean and deodorize your garbage disposal. I like the scent of citrus so I use the ARM & HAMMER Garbage Disposal Cleaner several times a week.
A clean kitchen makes me smile
When my kitchen is clean it makes me happy. A clean kitchen also makes it easier for me to be creative in the kitchen. When my kitchen is clean, I have more room to cook. I don't cook every day but when I do start cooking I cook many dishes. The other day my husband brought home an abundance of tomatoes from the church food pantry. So I made oven-roasted sun-dried tomatoes. Then one thing lead to another and before the day was done, I made homemade 60-minute white bread, roasted potatoes in the air-fryer, homemade spicy carrot hummus, grilled onions, and roasted tomatoes in the air fryer. My son wanted to bake some soft pumpkin chocolate chip cookies but since my tomatoes were drying in the oven I had to say no.
I also discovered a new way to roast tomatoes and trust me when I say they are delicious. Since I had an abundance of tomatoes, I decided to roast some in the air fryer. I was not sure what to expect as I was hoping that I could sun-dry the tomatoes faster. I am glad that I decided to place some of the tomato halves in the air fryer basket. The air fryer roasted tomatoes turned out incredibly sweet and full of flavor. You have to try my recipe for Roasted Tomatoes Made In The Air Fryer. The air fryer perfectly roasts the tomatoes into delicious sweet and savory delicious gems. These will not disappoint you.
My family loves when I mad cook as it means that we have a fridge full of delicious food. It also makes eating meals simpler when everyone is busy with work and school. For me, it means that I can take the container of caramelized onions and some roasted tomatoes out of the fridge. Then slice a piece of homemade bread to create a delicious pizza in no time. After all this cooking, my kitchen was a mess and I had no one to blame for the mess. My kitchen also did not smell the best as I also cooked some onions. I am glad that I had ARM & HAMMER Garbage Disposal Cleaner to give my kitchen a nice citrus scent.

I need to pick this up. Sometimes our garbage disposal reeks and I hate it.
I hear you when it comes to keeping the kitchen clean with everyone home. I swear my son doesn't know how to wipe down the counter after he's made a sandwich. Crumbs everywhere! We don't have a garbage disposal but I know what to buy to keep it clean if we ever do have one.
I need to use these! This would help with fruit flies I'm sure too!
