Fight Allergies The Natural Way With AirFree

One of the best things allergy sufferers can do is to purchase an air purifier. Airfree ® is the natural solution to asthma, respiratory allergies, and mold.

I have terrible allergies year round that require me to take two kinds of medicine. My allergies tend to get worse in the spring and summer. I am allergic to mold, dust, weeds, and grass. When I come in contact with these in the air, I have a bad cough that makes it hard for me to sleep. For the most part, my allergy medicine helps but there are some nights that I am up coughing all night. Those are the nights that I take Benadryl. I don't like having to take all this allergy medicine but it is necessary if I want to be able to breathe and sleep. Sure I could just close the windows in my house to avoid the allergens but that does not take care of the dust and mold ones, plus I love fresh air in my house.

So when I read about Air Purifiers and how they can clean the air and eliminate dust mites, bacteria, fungi, virus, pollen, allergens of domestic animals and other microorganisms from the air. I knew I just had to try one. I decided to try an AirFree purifier as I liked the small size and that it covered a large area. I also liked that it made no noise. Since I was placing the machine in my bedroom it had to be quiet as my husband likes the bedroom quiet when sleeping. My husband also likes to sleep in a pitch black bedroom, so I was glad that the AirFree could operate without any light. The AirFree is also maintenance-free, a plus for busy me. Another great feature was it had no replaceable filters. I like that it needed no filters as I tend to not replace them and I read that filters can harbor mold if not cleaned correctly.  Most people do not realize that products with air filters capture the mold spores and that causes growth on the filter.  Like I mentioned I am allergic to mold and I remember my bad eczema that I had as a kid that I later found out was caused by mold in our house humidifier filter.

So when my AirFree arrived, all I had to do was plug it in. I placed it on my bedside table and plugged it in. It made no noise, so I thought it was not working. I reread the instructions which said it would feel warm when operating and it did feel warm. The instructions also said it takes 24 hours to operate before I would notice anything. I did not expect much to happen with the purifier in my bedroom but after having in there for two nights something happened to me that amazed me. I woke up feeling refreshed and wanting to get out of bed after 7 hours of sleep. I am not sure this is a result of the purifier but I do think it is as it has been a long time since I woke up feeling refreshed. Before the air purifier, my alarm would go off and it would take an hour before I dragged myself out of bed. I believe the cleaner air is helping me sleep better as I can breathe better. I will continue to use the AirFree purifier in my bedroom as I love knowing that it is cleaning the air. This clean air will help me breathe better and allow me to sleep better. I am glad I gave this little machine a try.

So how does the AirFree work?
Airfree Air Purifier is an air purifier that sterilizes the air without the use of a filter and allows air to flow in and out while killing airborne allergens like pollen, dust mites and mold. This machine uses heat to destroy airborne allergens as Airfree draws in microbiological antigens and kills them through high heat. The below video explains it better than I can.

Airfree’s exclusive technology works by eliminating microorganisms and allergens, destroying them in a fraction of a second. Depending on the model, between 14,000 and 20,000 liters of air pass through the Airfree device every hour, treating all the air in the room in a very short space of time.

The process works in much the same way as sterilizing water by boiling it; when water is boiled, the microorganisms it contains are eliminated. In similar fashion, Airfree continually draws in air from the room, heating it to over 400°F and instantly sterilizing it. The purified air is then cooled inside the device before being returned to the room.

The entire process is completely silent and requires no maintenance, not even the occasional replacement of parts. All you have to do is switch the device on and leave it to get on with the job.

I actually have an Airfree air purifier and love that thing. We have forced hot air heat, so our house gets super dusty.

So glad your new air purifier is working & I too have thought of putting one in my bedroom. Not at the top of my list though, so maybe sometime later in the year.

I think I need to get one of these. My husband seems to be obsessed with air purifiers. He'd probably love this.

Having an air purifier in the house really helps! I think this one's awesome. I love that it also doubles as a night light and that it's not so big as well.

This is something that we need around the house. It's not as huge as other purifiers that I see in stores so it's easy to move around. I love the design, it's really cool.

My kiddo has severe allergies and we use a humidifier all year long, but it is a pain to clean! Is this one any easier?

This one needs no cleaning as it has no filter. You just plug it in and that is it.

Oooh that's awesome that it's completely silent! I don't like having things that make noise in the background, especially when I'm sleeping!

We had one that used a filter and it would always end up with hair from our pup. This would come in handy as we transition to a new home.

I've been wanting to purchase an air purifier for quite some time now, and I think you may have given me the extra push I needed. The health benefits are awesome! I will definitely be looking into this!

I haven't heard of AirFree. I wouldn't mind getting it for my son's room though. He doesn't have enough ventilation (no cross windows) so this could be very beneficial.

Air purifiers make such a difference! I was waking up with terrible allergies every day but I purchased one and also bought all hypoallergenic pillows and POOF! Morning allergies gone!

I haven't really ever used an Air Purifier before. I think this year since the pollen is so bad I might want to invest!

My mom's allergies increase more during this time of the year. I am thinking of giving her an air purifier as I am sure it will help her feel so much better.

My husband and daughter you suffer from allergies. There are days when we get a lot of sand dust from Sahara in the air and on those days my husband and daughter are suffering a lot. Have to invest in a air purifier asap!

I need one of these for our basement. Our girls play down there constantly and as basements do, ours triggers their allergies oretty badly during the rainy season.
