THE SHACK Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack Giveaway

This is a sponsored post on behalf of Review Wire Media for Lionsgate. I received information to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
Based on The New York Times Best-Selling Novel,
An All-Star Cast Delivers an Uplifting Spiritual Message
on Digital HD May 16 and Blu-ray™ and DVD on May 30
from Lionsgate

I am excited to see this movie and I can't wait until it comes out on DVD. A friend from church saw this movie and gave me a summary of the movie. He said, "A father loses his faith through a tragedy and through three strangers, he discovers God again."  He also loved that the movie was scripture based. Having suffered through the loss of a brother when I was younger, I knew that this was a movie that I need to see.

For anyone who has ever experienced loss, this is a must see movie!

The Shack takes us through a father’s experience learning the ultimate truth about love, loss, and forgiveness. The Christian movie event of the year, this “powerful and gripping” (The Dove Foundation) film has been awarded the Dove Faith Friendly Seal of Approval. The Shack takes us on a father’s transformative spiritual journey. After a family tragedy, Mack (Worthington) spirals into a crisis of faith and questions God’s existence and life’s purpose. Mack is unable to move on until he gets a mysterious invitation to an abandoned shack. There, God reveals Himself in the form of three strangers led by Papa (Spencer). Mack’s journey will transform audiences of all ages, in this movie that you will want to watch over and over.

Starring Sam Worthington (Avatar, Hacksaw Ridge), Academy Award® winner Octavia Spencer (Best Supporting Actress, The Help, 2011) and country music superstar Tim McGraw (The Blind Side).

The Shack arrives on DVD May 30th

Yes, I've experienced the loss of both my parents, as well as other relatives, along with losing some friends, including two best friends. But my faith has never wavered.

Yes of course I have experienced loss, but I consider questions about my faith personal-just the way I was raised.

I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer in 2014. It was a quick battle and I most definitely lost any faith I had over it. I still miss my dad every single day.

I lost my brother when I was 3, my Pop-Pop in 11th grade, and my Dad recently. Through every loss I was surrounded by a Christian community that helped me find strength and comfort in Christ.

I've lost family, and friends but the one that hit me the hardest was when one of my moms friends sons passed away and he was only 1. I used to babysit him and we were really close, that was the hardest to deal with. I never lost faith.

i lost a daughter that only lived 14 hours and 41 minutes. Quite the opposite, my faith is what pulled me through it.

We've lost 2 long-time cats in 3 months. They died of old age but we moved through it by supporting eachother.

At 5 months I lost an older brother. And never found out until I was 5yrs old. Never lost faith. I gained an understanding and faith that when I die I will get to see him since he loved me very much.
